The online OP system introduced in government hospitals, including medical colleges, is gaining popularity in the state. So far this year, 65.52 lakh OP tickets have been issued through eHealth. The system, which has been piloted in the state since 2012, has been well received by the people this year. At present, OPs and appointments are available online at 404 centers including Medical Colleges, General and Taluk Hospitals, Family and Primary Health Centers and the State Public Lab, Thiruvananthapuram. You can book online and print the OP and token. You will also get an SMS on your mobile. Just show these at any hospital. Medical records can also be stored online. Health officials said everyone should access the online OP system.

Click on the register link on the portal eehealth.kerala.gov.in. Create a Unique Health ID. Enter the Aadhaar number. OTP is available on Aadhaar registered phone. Name and age will be proved on OTP. Personal health identification number will be available.
