KOCHI: The special court in Kochi will consider today the plea filed by the crime branch seeking cancellation of Dileep's bail in the case of attacking the actress. The investigation team during further probe found that there was ample evidence that Dileep had violated the bail conditions.

The court had earlier directed Dileep to reply to the plea on April 26. The crime branch claimed that the actor tried to destroy the evidence and that there was digital evidence of him trying to influence the witnesses.

The actress was abducted and assaulted on the night of February 17 in 2017. Dileep was arrested in the same year in July in the case. He was remanded for 85 days. The high court granted him bail on strict condition that he should not influence the case in any way.
