KOZHIKODE: A youth taken into custody from his house has died. The youth identified as Jishnu (26) of Naranath House in Cheruvannur, died under mysterious circumstances. His relatives said two policemen of Nallalam police station took him into custody last night from his house. Jishnu, who was seen lying near his house in a serious condition, was taken to the hospital by the locals but his life could not be saved.

His relatives demanded an investigation into the incident and an autopsy in the presence of top officials. The relatives are planning to lodge a complaint with the Kozhikode City Police Commissioner. However, the police said that they just wanted to gather some information from him as part of the case.
