KOCHI: More evidences have been obtained against Vijay Babu, actor and producer, in the rape case. The police have received the CCTV visuals of Vijay Babu arriving at the luxury hotel with the complainant actress.

The investigating officials got the CCTV footages of the actor and the complainant arriving at the hotel and flat in Kadavanthra. The statement of the employees of the hotel were taken. It has been found that the actress was sexually abused in five places. The police have got the evidence of Vijay Babu coming to all these places.

The statement of eight witnesses including film personalities were registered so far. Evidence was obtained from them to confirm the actress' complaint. Statements of more will be taken today. The actress lodged a complaint on April 22 that Vijay Babu had raped her multiple times after promising roles in films.

A case has been registered against Vijay Babu for disclosing the name of the complainant. Kochi city police commissioner C H Nagaraju had yesterday said that there is prima facie evidence against the actor.
