PATNA: Bihar police have taken action following a controversy over the video which showed a woman giving a massage to an SI at a police outpost. Authorities have suspended SI Shashibhushan Sinha of the Darhar police outpost. It also ordered a departmental inquiry into the incident.

In the video clip, the bare-chested police officer can be seen with two women, one of them sitting next to him and the other massaging his neck, shoulders and back. The SI can be seen getting a massage in his room at the outpost. The woman who gave him the message was reportedly the mother of an accused in a rape case. Sources said that the woman had sought the help of the SI to secure bail for her son. The video also showed Shashibhushan talking to an advocate over the phone regarding the case.
