THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state government, which had appointed an expert committee to examine the controversial plus two answer key, will take further action on the matter, on Monday.
The committee will mainly examine the eight problematic questions in the answer key. The key provided by the teachers during the scheme finalization is not likely to be considered. Another alternative option is to provide a new answer key. However, it may affect the evaluation and the announcement of results as well.
Numerous chemistry teachers had boycotted evaluation camps for three days on finding out mistakes in the answer key given by the education department. Initially, the education department was not ready to change the answer keys. However, they changed their stance and became ready to appoint an expert committee following the intervention of the chief minister’s office.
