KOCHI: Actor Maniyanpillai Raju has said that there is no doubt that action will be taken against actor and producer Vijay Babu, who is accused in a rape case, by A.M.M.A. Vijay Babu himself informed that he wants to step aside.The actor said that there is no need to kick out a person who is already leaving.

A person cannot be immediately removed from the organization on the grounds that he has committed a crime. They should listen to his explanation and have to come for three hearings. Action can be taken only after all this. Maniyanpillai Raju said that the decision was taken after consulting the lawyers who were with them.

Maala Parvathi has resigned from A.M.M.A's Internal Complaints Committee. Whatever she does is her choice. Maniyanpillai Raju clarified that the rest of the members of the committee are with A.M.M.A.
