THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The prosecution will file an appeal tomorrow to cancel the bail of PC George in the case of hate speech. The appeal is being filed in the court in Thiruvananthapuram. Approaching the High Court is also under consideration.

PC George's controversial speech was at the Ananthapuri Hindu Mahasammelanam organized by the Hindu Maha Parishad in Thiruvananthapuram. George demanded Hindus not buy goods from Muslim traders' establishments and accused Muslim hotels of sterilizing them.

Although PC George was arrested for hate speech, the court granted him bail which was a setback for the government. Despite the fact that the accused was taken into custody and arrested within hours of registering the FIR, the police considers the bail seriously.
