KOZHIKODE: BJP national president JP Nadda on Friday mentioned about the recent political assassinations in Kerala in the wake of the Thrikkakara by-election. Nadda was addressing a public meeting organized by the BJP in Kozhikode. Nadda alleged that 15 murders had already taken place in the district of chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan alone and that the murders of RSS activists Sreenivasan and Sanjith were state-sponsored. He said that Kerala will not be able to go ahead like this for long.

Nadda also alleged that Kerala has become a breeding ground for Islamic extremism. Nadda said the Christian community was concerned about the narcotics jihad and that they had expressed their concern about it. He alleged that in Kerala, benefits were given only to one section and other sections were being ignored.

Nadda's visit to Kerala is a prelude to the BJP's preparations for the upcoming parliamentary elections. He also assessed the preparations for the Thrikkakara by-election.
