LDF candidate from Thrikkakara constituency, Dr Jo Joseph met Mammootty and seeked his votes. Although he has received an award from Mammootty before, Jo Joseph said that this is the first time he has visited him in his house.

He has also shared pictures with Mammootty on Facebook. Jo Joseph said that he had discussed many things with Mammootty in a short span of time and he promised all support. Kochi Mayor and CPM District Secretariat member M Anil Kumar and other leaders were also present.

Earlier, UDF candidate Uma Thomas also visited Mammootty. When Mammootty said that it is better to have a candidate familiar with the constituency, Uma Thomas wrote on Facebook that she was convinced that Mammootty's mind, vote and support were with her.
