THIRUVALLA: Two students drowned while bathing in Manimala river in Mallappally. The deceased have been identified as Karthik (16), son of Lakshmanan from Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu and Sabari (15), son of Veliyappan from Tenkashi Tirunelveli.

They arrived at the family house in Mallappally to attend a function. They went for a swim in the Manimala river with three other children at 3 pm.
