ALAPPUZHA: A couple was found electrocuted in Cherthala. They have been identified as Haridas (65) and his wife Shyamala (60) of Mayithara Bhagyasadanam. The two were found dead in a shed adjacent to their house. An electric wire was found draped around their bodies.

Indications are that they draped the wire around their bodies and shocked themselves. Arthunkal police reached the spot and started an investigation. The couple has a daughter.
