KOCHI: Another case has been registered against P C George on charges of hate speech. The case was registered under sections 153 A and 295 A. The case was registered by the Palarivattom police.

George was booked for his objectionable remarks during a speech, which he delivered in connection with a temple festival at Vennala here on May 8.

Meantime, the magistrate court will consider tomorrow police’ plea seeking cancellation of P C George’s bail. It has to be noted that another case was taken in this situation.

George arrested under non-bailable offence for his hate speech was granted bail in a few hours. Fort police arrested George and produced him at the magistrate court for his controversial statements against Muslims while addressing a programme organised as part of the Ananthapuri Hindu Maha Sammelan.

The court's bail report stated that the prosecution could not fully prove why he was arrested and that there were previous orders to grant bail without hearing the prosecution's arguments. After being granted bail, P C George stated that he was adamant about the allegations.
