KOCHI: While former minister Prof KV Thomas will remain in the Congress, he will share the stage with Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan again tomorrow. He will take part in the LDF campaign in Thrikkakara. Future plans will be announced today.

The political centres are looking into whether KV Thomas can bring along any of the dissatisfied leaders in the Congress. Local leaders are worried and outraged by the leadership's decision to field Uma Thomas in Thrikkakkara. Many are anxious to see if the local leaders will join Thomas in the LDF. The CPM also hopes that some leaders and workers will come along with Thomas. Meanwhile, the Congress leadership is relieved that no one had publicly supported Thomas.

KV Thomas's plan is to work with the LDF while retaining the Congress membership. He says his position is to stand with development beyond politics.
