KOCHI: A transgender woman has been found dead. Actress and model Sherin Celine Mathew (27) was found dead. She was found hanging in a lodge in Chakkaraparambu Tuesday morning at 10 am. She is a native of Alappuzha.

She had shared posts on social media in recent days on being depressed. There were reports that she had some issues with her friends. Police reached the spot and began inquest proceedings. A case will be registered for unnatural death.
