v-d-satheesan

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The actress assaulted is like my daughter, said opposition leader V D Satheesan. The leader said that no daughter should face a similar experience and that he would stand by her providing the support and confidence she needs.

The assaulted actress has suffered a bigger bad experience from the Left leaders than what she had endured in her life. The UDF is not going to use the issue for political gains. The UDF has demanded an inquiry into the circumstances that had forced the survivor to lodge a complaint in the High Court.

The survivor has raised a serious allegation before the court that prominent members of the ruling party are intervening in the probe and are trying to sabotage it. Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, E P Jayarajan, Antony Raju and M M Mani had made insulting remarks about the actress regarding filing the plea during the election time. They should apologize and withdraw their statements, he said.

Meantime, the survivor met the chief minister Thursday morning. The actress also submitted a three-page memorandum requesting several things such as not to stop further investigation, question the advocates involved in the case, appoint a special prosecutor among others. The chief minister has also assured that the government stands with the survivor in the case.
