The survivor has raised a serious allegation before the court that prominent members of the ruling party are intervening in the probe and are trying to sabotage it. Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, E P Jayarajan, Antony Raju and M M Mani had made insulting remarks about the actress regarding filing the plea during the election time. They should apologize and withdraw their statements, he said.

Meantime, the survivor met the chief minister Thursday morning. The actress also submitted a three-page memorandum requesting several things such as not to stop further investigation, question the advocates involved in the case, appoint a special prosecutor among others. The chief minister has also assured that the government stands with the survivor in the case.
