KOCHI: The government has filed a petition in the High court seeking an extension of three months for the probe into the actress assault case by stating several critical information. It was stated that the visuals of the assault were received from Dileep's brother Anoop's phone. On November 1, 2015, Dileep paid Rs 1 lakh to Suni. Evidence was also found that money had been deposited in Suni's mother's account on November 2. An inspection of Dileep's Grand Productions on October 30, 2015 found evidence that Rs 1 lakh had been withdrawn from Dileep's account.
Visuals on Anoop's phone proves that Dileep has a copy of the footage or the original on the memory card. There are also evidence which shows Kavya Madhavan's involvement in the case. Evidence was obtained from Suraj's(Dileep's brother-in-law) phone that Dileep had received the footage. Cyber expert Sai Shankar says Dileep has destroyed digital evidence. The tab containing the footage was in Sarath's custody. According to Balachandra Kumar, Dileep and his group saw the visuals in it. But the police could not find the tab. Phones of Anoop and Suraj with crucial digital evidence are also yet to be found.
