KOCHI: Pinarayi Vijayan’s politics is shameful, said former MLA P C George. If it was not for the Thrikkakkara bypolls, there wouldn’t even have been an FIR against me, he said while talking to the media.

“It is necessary to reach Thrikkakkara today. I will give reply to Pinarayi there. The notice for interrogation in the hate speech case is politically motivated. I have informed the police that I cannot appear for the questioning”, said P C George.

The police had directed George to appear at the Thiruvananthapuram Fort Assistant Commissioner Office on Sunday in order to record statement in the hate speech case. However, he has informed the officials that he could not appear for the questioning due to ill-health and will appear on some other day as directed by the police. He will be served another notice from the police.
