THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Mumbai model theft in Kattakada. A two-member team came in a bike and looted the gold. The masked team reached a house at Pulluvilakam in Kattakada, threatened at gunpoint and then looted an ear studs.

Only an old woman and her granddaughter were at home at the time of the incident. The twist in the incident was revealed only when the police arrived. The studs the robbers stole was not gold.

Police said the inmates of the house had stated that the studs lost were not gold. The Kattakada police have started an investigation. The investigation is mainly focused on cannabis gangs in the area.
