MALAPPURAM: A man who was shot during a pig hunt met with a tragic end here in Malappuram. The deceased has been identified as Sanu alias Irshad, a native of Chattipparambu, Malappuram. The accident happened when he went to hunt a pig in a forested area in Chattiparambu. There were three people in the group. The police concluded that Irshad was accidentally shot. Police have launched an investigation into the other two men who were with him.
