IDUKKI: A 15-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by a gang in Pooppara. Four people attacked the girl of other state who came with a friend. Two have been taken into custody. The incident happened last evening.

The girl lives with her parents in Khajanapara. She arrived at Pooppara with a friend. While talking with her friend in the tea planation, the accused came and chased her friend away and then sexually assaulted her.

The police had registered a case in the incident yesterday itself. The girl was subjected for a medical examination. Hints say that she was not raped.
