KATHMANDU: Reports suggest that 14 bodies were found from the wreckage of the Nepal plane that went missing last day. The plane’s wreckage was found at Kovang in Mustang district, during a search operation, on Monday morning.
“Fourteen bodies have been recovered so far, search continues for the remaining. The weather is very bad but we were able to take a team to the crash site. No other flight has been possible," said spokesman Deo Chandra Lal Karn, Civil Aviation Authority.
The whereabouts of the plane were identified last day, but the search was halted overnight due to snowfall. The search was resumed on Monday morning.

The aircraft with 22 people including four Indians onboard went missing yesterday.

There were a total of 22 people aboard, including 16 Nepalese, two Germans, and four natives of Mumbai namely Ashok Kumar Tripathy, wife Vaibhavi Bandekar, children Dhanush Tripathy and Ritika Tripathy. The bodies of some passengers have been reportedly found. The search operation is underway.
The turboprop Twin Otter 9N-AET plane operated by Tara Air had crashed on Sunday, while flying from the city of Pokhara to Jomsom, a popular tourist town in central Nepal.
