KOCHI: BJP state president K Surendran on Monday said that the Thrikkakkkara by-election would be the assessment of the maladministration of the second Pinarayi government as well as the inactivity of the opposition. Speaking to the media in Kochi, Surendran said that the election result will be a reflection of the sentiment of the people of Kerala.
"The election will reflect the protest votes of the Hindu-Christian communities against the invasion of the religious extremists. Hindus and Christians alike are saddened when the government and the opposition support the religious extremist forces. There is fierce competition between the LDF and UDF leaders for the Popular Front's vote. The Popular Front is negotiating with the government and the opposition." Surendran said.
