KASARAGOD: A mother committed suicide after killing her daughter who was a victim of endosulfan. The incident took place at Chamundikunnu in Balanthodu in Kasaragod. Vimala, a cook at Rajapuram school, committed suicide after killing her daughter Reshma (28).

Reshma, an inmate of a care home under the Department of Social Justice, did not want to return home. The two had a dispute over this issue which eventually led to this tragedy. Reshma was found dead in her bed at home. Vimala was found hanging. According to police, Vimala committed suicide after strangling Reshma. The incident took place around 4 pm on Monday.
