THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The remand report of the police in the hate slogan case pointed out that the boy chanted the hate slogans with the knowledge and consent of his father. As per the remand report, the boy was taught the slogan by Popular Front Tripunithura mandalam secretary Sudheer and Palluruthy division president Shameer.

The boy's father allowed the Popular Front leaders to teach the slogan to the child. The father too repeated the slogan. The remand report pointed out that the boy's father and Popular Front leaders violated the law that children should not be used for illegal activities.

The police had earlier arrested Ashkar, the child's father. Meanwhile, Ashkar told the police that the child was not taught any slogans and that child had memorized the slogan raised during the protest against the citizenship law.
