KOCHI: Jo Joseph, the LDF candidate for Thrikkakara bypolls, said that low polling percent is a favourable fact. He said the lowest turnout was in the UDF strongholds and he hope to win the election.

"I don’t even think about defeat. I believe I will win. The desire of the people for development, the possibility of having a ruling party MLA and systematic party work all show that there will be a resounding success", Joseph said.

"The mission entrusted to me by the party was completed. I will start going to the hospital from tomorrow.", Jo Joseph said. He was speaking in an interview with a private channel. Meanwhile, UDF candidate Uma Thomas said she is hopeful of victory. She added that there will be a good majority and that the people of Thrikkakara won't leave her side.
