THRISSUR: A class Four was bitten by a snake on the second day of school. The accident took place at Vadakkancherry Anapparambu school. Kumaranellur native Adesh (10) was bitten by a snake while he was getting off the school bus.

The child has been admitted to Thrissur Medical College Hospital. Sources said that the health condition of the child is satisfactory. Following the incident, the snake was beaten to death by the locals.

Adesh was a student of another LP school in Vadakkencherry. Classes were shifted to Anapparambu School as construction works were going on at the school.
