CHENNAI: A case has been registered against Dravidar Kazhagam activists for insulting Hindu deities Lord Krishna and Ayyappan. The case was registered by the Madurai SS Colony police. According to police, a case has been registered against them for insulting religious sentiments.
Activists raised the controversial slogan at a rally on May 29. The video was circulated on social media. The Hindu Makkal Katchi then lodged a complaint with the Madurai police along with the video.
The Dravidar Kazhagam activists raised slogans including how to see Ayyappan as God.
