SRINAGAR: A Hizbul terrorist was killed by the security forces in an encounter in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir. The dead has been identified as the commander of Hizbul Mujahideen outfit Nisar Khanday. Three soldiers and a civilian were injured in the encounter, said the Kashmir police.
According to the police, ammunition including 01 AK 47 rifle was recovered from the area. The encounter took place at Rishipora area of Anantnag. “All the injured were immediately airlifted to 92 base hospital Srinagar for treatment and are stated to be stable," said the police spokesman.
