THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Police have once again issued a notice to former MLA PC George asking him to appear for questioning in the hate speech case. PC George has been asked to appear for questioning at 11 am on Monday. It was Fort Assistant Commissioner who issued the notice.
Earlier, the police had issued a notice asking George to appear for questioning on May 29. However, he informed the police that he cannot appear due to some health issues and was willing to appear before the police on another day. George then campaigned for the BJP candidate in Thrikkakara. But the police did not take any action against George.
During the Thrikkakara election campaign, George said that he had no regrets about what he said in Vennala and Thiruvananthapuram. He said that he had just pointed out the social evils before him.
