KOCHI: Holland native Jeron Elliott, an international diving instructor, who had reached the Kollam coast in a schooner without permission, has returned from Kerala. He left Kerala at 3 pm yesterday after completing the emigration and registration process.

Jeron, who went to Thoothukudi, will continue his journey to Port Blair. Police had found Jeron on the shore of Kollam when he was on his way to Port Blair. When questioned, he said that he got off at Kollam coast after feeling unwell. During the journey, he felt unwell and thus he anchored the schooner near the shore and reached the shore in a kayaking boat. Meanwhile, the unmanned schooner was taken into custody by the Coast Guard. Jeron, who tried to stop them, fell down and got injured.

The delay in the registration works of the schooner and a leg injury hampered his journey. Jeron had been providing diving training to students and youth in Kochi for the last six months.
