CHENGANNUR: A policeman was found dead at his home. The deceased has been identified as Aneesh, CPO of Pathanamthitta Perumpetty Police Station. He was found hanging at his house in Pravinkoodu, Chengannur.

Aneesh returned home after work on Saturday morning. He told his mother about the work stress and then went upstairs to his room. When the son didn't come downstairs till afternoon, the mother went to his room. She saw her son hanging and cried aloud. The locals rushed Aneesh to the hospital but he was declared dead.

Aneesh is reported to have told relatives and friends about the work stress. It is said that he had sought treatment from a doctor three days ago. But the suicide note was not found.
