KOCHI: Police have questioned four people, including actor Saiju Kurup, who helped Vijay Babu, while absconding in Dubai in rape case of a young actress. He was questioned for providing credit card to Vijay Babu while hiding in Dubai. The names of the other three questioned have not been released. Meanwhile, Saiju Kurup said that the credit card given to him by Vijay Babu's wife was being given to Vijay Babu. The actor claims that it was before the rape case.

Saiju Kurup will also be included in the case if he provided help knowing that Vijay Babu was the accused. After completing the testimony of the witnesses, Vijay Babu will be questioned again.

The police says that Saiju handed over cards which was given to him by Vijay Babu's close relative at a film location in Kodungalloor via Nedumbassery. Vijay Babu might have seeked his help for money. The transaction details of this credit card has been collected by the police.

Vijay Babu's two phones were seized by the police. They have been sent to Trivandrum Forensic for Scientific Examination. The results will be out only by the end of this month. At present, statements have been taken from 30 witnesses. A lead singer and his wife are key witnesses in the case. Their statement will be recorded soon. They have seen Vijay Babu arriving with the actress to the hotel in Kochi.
