Kamal Haasan starrer ‘Vikram’ continues to run successfully in theatres breaching the Rs 100 crore club. The movie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, has grossed over Rs 100 crores within three days of its release. The movie collected Rs 58 crores on its very first day, of which Rs 5 crores was from Kerala alone.
The film was also released in the US and Gulf countries and has received a good response. The movie had also entered Rs 200 crore club prior to its release, as its OTT and satellite rights in multiple languages were sold for record prices. The movie also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Fahad Faasil, Chemban Vinod and Narain in lead roles along with a special appearance by actor Suriya. ‘Vikram’ is the third Kamal Haasan movie to enter the 100 crore club. Earlier, ‘Vishwaroopam’ and ‘Dashavataram’ had achieved this feat.

Meantime, reports suggest that Vikram is the fourth Kollywood movie to gross over Rs 100 crores in box office. Earlier, Rajinikanth’s ‘Kabali’, ‘2.0’ and Vijay’s ‘Beast’ had also entered the Rs 100 crore club within three days of its release.
