VIZHINJAM: In a shocking incident, a stray dog killed and ate another dog unable to bear hunger. The tragic incident took place in front of Holy Cross School, Poonkulam at around 9 am, the other day.

According to locals, a stray dog which was walking along the road, suddenly bit the neck of another dog, which had been walking alongside it. The locals tried to stop the dog from biting the other, but failed. The dog then ate the ear of the dead dog and then went for its neck. By then, the locals chased it away. The people in the nearby bus stop and shops stood watching the terrible incident.
