ALUVA: Union Minister of State Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal, who has Z category security has visited scheduled caste colony in near Kadungallur pachayat office and had lunch in a Chellama Iyyer's small house in the colony.The minister laughed along with the natives and interacted with them. He arrived along with BJP workers and villagers and returned after an hour.BJP Kalamassery Mandalam secretary Sojoya Shibu was the translator.

He interacted with the people who were waiting to see him and also distributed sweets on the children in the anganwadi, which was along the way.

Chellamma, son Purushothaman and daughter-in-law Shantini welcomed the minister. After inquiring about Chellamma's family details, the minister sat down with the family and ate lunch.Commenting on Sadya, the minister said, "Achcha nahi, bahut acha." He presented a shawl to Chellamma and seeked her blessings. Other leaders were also with him.The visit was part of the PM's visit to the people to mark the eighth anniversary of the Modi government.
