NEW DELHI: A fight that broke out for not giving Rs 10 to buy a cigarette ended in a murder. The incident happened on June 6 at Anand Parbhat in central Delhi. The dead has been identified as Vijay aged 17.

Sonu Kumar (24) of Anand Parbhat and his friends Praveen (20), Jatin (24) and Ajay (23) have been arrested in the case. Sonu had demanded money from Vijay to buy cigarette. A verbal dispute broke out when Vijay refused to give money. They then stabbed Vijay. On information of a youth lying unconsciously on the road, the police reached the spot and took him to the hospital, but his life could not be saved.

The police nabbed the accused with the help of CCTV cameras and witnesses. Police said further investigation is underway into the incident.
