KOZHIKODE: A youth hacked a girl in Nadapuram. The incident happened Thursday afternoon at 2 pm. Naheema, a B.Com student of Vadakara MET College sustained the hack injuries. She was attacked near Perod Thattarath Juma Masjid. The youth identified as Nahaz tried to commit suicide by slitting his wrist. Naheema was admitted in a hospital in Vadakara with serious injuries and then was shifted to Kozhikode Medical College.

She sustained hack injuries all over her body. Police said the youth attacked for rejecting his love. He has been taken into custody.
