Cases of ATM, credit card fraud, blackmail and cheating are among the cases that are not proven. No culprits have been identified in the ATM and credit card scams that took place during and after the lockdown. The investigation is also ineffective in banking fraud, social media crimes and e-mail cheating.

Most of the cyber cases are in Thiruvananthapuram city-1854. There are 736 cases pending in the cyber police station. Since the formation of the cyber police, chargesheets have been filed in 901 cases.

Obstruction due to lack of information
