THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Ibrahim, a friend of Swapna Suresh, revealed that the conversation in the audio recording released by Swapna Suresh took place on Wednesday. Ibrahim also confirmed that the voice in the audio clip was his own. He said that he had asked Swapna to settle the case by accepting money in order to comfort her. Ibrahim, however, alleged that the audio recording had been edited and Swapna's parts had been omitted.

"I am the one known as Kaakku. I was the one who introduced Shaj Kiran to Swapna," Ibrahim said.

Swapna Suresh had released an audio recording of her friend Shaj Kiran earlier today. Ibrahim can also be heard speaking during the conversation. During the press conference, Swapna Suresh spoke about her relationship with Shaj Kiran and the reason for talking to him. She said that she had known him for years.

"Shaj had asked me to meet him after giving the confidential statement. We later met in Thrissur. He threatened me and asked if I knew who I'm playing against," Swapna said.
