KOCHI: The witness statement of Saritha S Nair was recorded in connection with the conspiracy case against Swapna Suresh, an accused in the gold smuggling case. P C George has pressurized me to testify against the chief minister for Swapna Suresh, Saritha said.

“P C George called me at my house in Erattupetta. I know that Swapna has no evidence with her. Hence, I retreated”, she said.

Swapna and George met in Ernakulam. I know that the conspiracy has been going on since February. P C George is providing legal assistance to Swapna, Saritha told the police. She also added that she has not spoken to Swapna.
