KOCHI: Amid the ongoing controversies surrounding Swapna Suresh, an accused in gold smuggling case, Shaj Kiran and his friend Ibrahim have gone to Tamil Nadu. We came to retrieve a deleted video of Swapna, said Ibrahim.

‘We are trying to retrieve the video with the help of a technician friend. We came to Tamil Nadu as we did not have the confidence to hand over the phone in Kochi. The video was shot on Wednesday. I myself deleted it on Thursday. The visuals will be released soon after we receive it. On seeing the video you will understand who is behind Swapna. I tried to help Swapna considering her as a sister’, Ibrahim said.

‘I had acquainted with Swapna as part of a plot sale in Thiruvananthapuram. We have personally known each other only for two months’, said Ibrahim. He confirmed that the audio released by Swapna on Friday was recorded on Wednesday. However, he alleged that the audio was edited and Swapna’s portions were omitted.
