THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Police have registered a case against Swapna Suresh's lawyer on non-bailable charges. The Ernakulam Central Police has registered a case against Advocate R Krishnaraj for blasphemy.

A case has been registered against him for defaming a KSRTC driver and posting it on social media. Krishnaraj has been charged under Section 294A of the non-bailable Act. The case was registered on a complaint filed by Anoop VR, a lawyer from Thrissur. The police said that they will check Krishnaraj's Facebook post in detail.

Krishnaraj shared a photo on Facebook of a KSRTC driver driving a bus wearing religious symbols and costumes. KSRTC had explained that the incident is fake.
