KOCHI: Swapna Suresh, accused in the gold smuggling case, has beefed up her own security following the revelations. She deployed two full time body guards for her. They will be with her all the time. Swapna had recently stated that her life is in danger and is receiving threats.

Meantime, there are indications that Swapna Suresh will go to Kochi to meet her lawyer and seek legal advice as soon as her health improves. She had earlier decided to leave this morning but she collapsed while talking to the media last night. She was rushed to a hospital and later shifted home.

Swapna will approach the high court tomorrow seeking cancellation of the conspiracy case registered by the Thiruvananthapuram Cantonment Police. Swapna alleged that the case was taken in retaliation for her statement in the gold smuggling case.

Swapna Suresh had yesterday released to the media the evidence of Shaj Kiran threatening her to withdraw her statement in the gold smuggling case.

Swapna alleged that Shaj Kiran, a native of Kottarakkara, who came as an interlocutor for the chief minister, had threatened her. She had stated that as her life is in danger releasing all the collected evidence.

However, Shaj Kiran said Swapna Suresh is his friend and that he did not threaten her. I do not know the chief minister or Kodiyeri Balakrishnan. Shaj also said that he had not met Sivasankar.
