BHOPAL: A group of men attacked a woman using paper cutter for resisting their attempt to sexually assault her. The incident took place in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The woman had serious injuries with 118 stitches on her face. She had undergone surgery and is currently being treated at a hospital.
The incident took place in Friday. A group of men attacked the woman who went to the Sree Palace Hotel in TT Nagar’s Roshanpura along with her husband. There was an quarrel between the couple and the group while parking. These men insulted the woman and tried to sexually assault her while her husband was inside the hotel. According to police, she resisted the attempt and even slapped one of them. After this, the woman went to her hotel room.
As the couple was leaving the hotel, the men attacked her using a paper cutter. The woman was rushed to the hospital by her husband. Two of the three suspects have been arrested, Badshah Beg and Ajay alias Bitti Sibde and are looking for the third, informed the police. Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan visited the couple and promised full assistance to the treatment. The CM praised her courage and awarded her Rs 1 lakh. He assured that the culprits would be punished and strict action would be taken against them.
