Anyone who climbs the steps of Sanadhalayam in Gowreesapattom, need not worry, as there is Shadow to watch over them. On hearing the name Shadow, don’t misunderstand it as the Shadow police. This is someone else… A handsome dog, Shadow.

Shadow was not famous, not until recently. However, now, he is a social media star. Actually, it was a star who had made Shadow a star; Malayalee’s favourite actor Suresh Gopi. The actor met Shadow one-and-half-month back, during his visit to Sanadhalayam.

Shadow is very skeptical of those whom he meets for the first time. He will become friendly as he gets familiar with the person. It was the same with Suresh Gopi too. Tea is Shadow’s weakness. A life without tea is unimaginable for him. All the residents of the area are aware about Shadow’s love for tea. It is this tea love that brought Suresh Gopi and Shadow together.

During his first visit, Suresh Gopi had acquainted with Shadow by offering him a cup of tea. The pictures of the duo had then gone viral on social media. Now, Suresh Gopi has arrived at Sanadhalayam once again.

However, the actor didn’t just forget Shadow, but brought a special gift for his favourite dog. Rwanda tea, one of the most expensive teas of the world, was the actor’s gift for Shadow. He brought snacks for the residents as well. The actor had earlier informed the Sanadhalayam authorities of his visit and his gift.

Shadow really enjoyed the tea brought by Suresh Gopi. Not just the actor, but everyone around there served tea for Shadow, who drank it all and walked around affectionately.

Radio jockeys Kidilam Firoz and Sumi had accompanied Suresh Gopi. Sanadhalayam is a refuge centre for those seeking cancer treatment. The actor was attracted by the activities of Sanadhalayam, which provides free accommodation and meals to cancer patients from different parts of Kerala. Anyway, all the residents are happy as they now have two trusted stars to take care of them. Suresh Gopi, who became a star through movies and Shadow, who became a star through Suresh Gopi.
