THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The tear gas that was used by the police against those who were protesting against the Chief Minister in front of the airport fell into the premises of a house of a woman and her bedridden elderly mother. Police used tear gas more than five times to repel Youth Congress activists. However, one of these tear gas cans crashed into the house.

Following this, the woman came out and protested against the police. She complained that she and her mother, the only inmates in the house, felt uncomfortable after breathing the smoke from the tear gas.

"My mother is feeling unwell after breathing the smoke from the tear gas. She is having difficulty in breathing. We are not even able to call anyone for help. I am unable to take my mother to the hospital as the entire road is closed to provide security to the CM. Let the CM himself answer this," the woman said.
