THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: LDF convener EP Jayarajan gave an explanation regarding the incident where he confronted the Youth Congress workers who protested against the Chief Minister inside the flight to Thiruvananthapuram. EP Jayarajan said that the Youth Congress activists came under the influence of alcohol and they were not even able to stand up properly.

The incident took place when the plane landed in Thiruvananthapuram. Jayarajan alleged that this was the first such protest against a chief minister in the country and that the Congress had fielded activists for terrorist activities.

Two Youth Congress activists were present inside the flight. Mattannur block president Farseen Majeed and district secretary RK Naveen Kumar protested against the CM. One of them was wearing a black shirt.

The police had questioned the two after seeing them at the Kannur airport under suspicious circumstances. However, they were allowed to board the flight after they told the police that they were going to visit a patient at the RCC.
