THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A complaint has been filed with the DGP alleging that LDF convener EP Jayarajan had attempted to kill two Youth Congress workers by strangling them inside the flight. Youth Congress workers Farsin Majeed and Naveen Kumar were present in the flight carrying the CM from Kannur to Thiruvananthapuram yesterday.

The complaint was lodged by Youth Congress general secretary Jobin Jacob. In his complaint, Jobin alleged that Jayarajan assaulted the Youth Congress workers, who were traveling for personal use, and tried to kill them.

Both Farsin Majeed and Naveen Kumar suffered injuries in the attack. According to the complaint lodged with the DGP, although a complaint was lodged with the police against Jayarajan for committing a serious crime, no action was taken.

However, EP Jayarajan had said yesterday that he had questioned the two Youth Congress activists who were making noise on the plane under the influence of alcohol.

Meanwhile, Youth Congress president Shafi Parambil lodged a complaint with the Aviation Authority and the DGP seeking to impose a travel ban on EP Jayarajan.
