PALAKKAD: A CPM MLA has made a bad remark about the women activists participating in Congress protests against Chief Minister. Nenmara MLA K Babu spoke insultingly about the women activists at a public meeting in Palasana.

'As soon as women activists joins in protests, they stand in front. They try to climb over the barricades, as soon as they reach the top..', he then made a bad remark. 'Shameful protests are happening here with very few people. Out of at least ten persons in these protests, two are women', said the MLA.

He spoke about women activists who climbed into barricades during protests against CM. He later asked what is wrong with his speech. Meanwhile, Youth Congress had lodged a complaint against K Babu in Kollankodu police.
